News Jennifer Hudson, Elton John, Jason Mraz, Canadian Tenors Set for Grand Slam for Children Benefit Jennifer Hudson, Sir Elton John, Jason Mraz, Rob Thomas and The Canadian Tenors will perform at the 15th Grand Slam for Children benefit concert, which will be held Oct. 9 at the Wynn Las Vegas.

Tennis legend Agassi will host the evening, which benefits his foundation's efforts to improve education for all children, and specifically the Andre Agassi College Preperatory Academy in Las Vegas.

The evening includes a cocktail reception, dinner and live auction in addition to the concert.

Pop star and actress Hudson, an Academy Award winner for the film "Dreamgirls," rose to fame as a contestant on "American Idol." Singer-songwriter John won a Tony Award for his score to Aida and has also written the music for Billy Elliot and The Lion King.
