Tony nominees Jennifer Simard (Disaster!; Hello, Dolly!) and Christopher Sieber (Shrek the Musical, Spamalot) will star as Miss Hannigan and Daddy Warbucks in the St. Louis Muny summer production of the Tony-winning musical Annie.

Directed by John Tartaglia and choreographed by Jessica Hartman with music direction by Colin Welford, performances are scheduled for July 18–25 at the outdoor venue.

“Christopher stopped the show last season as show-businessy Herod in our Superstar,” said Muny Artistic Director and Executive Producer Mike Isaacson in a statement. “I can’t wait for our audiences to experience his warmth and humor and gentleness as our Warbucks. Jennifer Simard has been on a Muny wish list for many years. Her comic smarts and endless talents are one of Broadway’s treasures. This is going to be epic.”

Annie has a book by Thomas Meehan, music by Charles Strouse, and lyrics by Martin Charnin.

Season tickets are currently on sale. Single tickets go on sale May 7. Visit muny.org or call (314) 361-1900.

Sieber also played Daddy Warbucks in Paper Mill's Annie; check out photos below:
