Jenny Fellner — who will star in the Bay Street Theatre's upcoming production of The Boy Friend (directed by Julie Andrews) — will replace Tina Maddigan in the role of the young woman searching for her father. Fellner's agent confirmed to Playbill On-Line that the actress singer will begin her Broadway run Oct. 22. That day, Dee Hoty also joins the company, replacing Tony nominee Louise Pitre as Donna.
Fellner, who will be making her Broadway debut in Mamma Mia!, has previously appeared in productions of Footloose, Jekyll and Hyde and Evita. She received her B.A. in musical theatre from the University of Northern Colorado.
