Powers (Happiness, Grease) starred in the world premiere of Dangerous Beauty as part of the American Music Theatre Project in August 2008 and will reprise her performance in the upcoming Pasadena Playhouse run of the musical in February 2011.

Powers will be joined by Johnny Mercer Award-winning composer Michele Brourman and Golden Globe-winning songwriter and lyricist Amanda McBroom for the 8 PM concert. Cavenaugh (West Side Story, Grey Gardens) will also appear.

The concert will feature selections from Dangerous Beauties, as well as favorite and unknown tunes.

Jeannine Dominy penned the book to Dangerous Beauty based on her 1998 screenplay of the same title. Tony Award-nominated Next  Fall director Sheryl Kaller will stage the production that will run Feb. 1-27, 2011.
