News Jeremy Woodard Will Step into the Role of Stacee Jaxx in Rock of Ages in October Jeremy Woodard, who has also been seen on Broadway in Glory Days, will take over the role of Stacee Jaxx in the Tony-nominated musical Rock of Ages Oct. 3 at the Helen Hayes Theatre.

Woodard has understudied the role since performances began on Broadway March 17, 2009. He succeeds MiG Ayesa, who will play his final performance Sept. 25.  During the interim week, the role will be covered by an understudy.

The cast also currently features Rebecca Faulkenberry as Sherrie, Dan Domenech as Drew, Mitchell Jarvis as Lonny, Adam Dannheisser as Dennis, Cody Scott Lancaster as Franz, Michele Mais as Justice, Josephine Rose Roberts as Regina and Bret Tuomi as Hertz.  Rounding out the cast are Tessa Alves, Joey Calveri, Ericka Hunter, Tony LePage, Michael Minarik, Jennifer Rias, Andre Ward and Emily Williams.

The musical comedy Rock of Ages borrows rock hits of the 1980s to tell the story of showbiz lovers in L.A. The score includes "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," "I Wanna Know What Love Is," "Here I Go Again," "Don't Stop Believin'" and more.

Rock of Ages is written by Chris D'Arienzo, directed by Kristin Hanggi and choreographed by Kelly Devine.

The performance schedule is Monday at 8 PM, Tuesday at 7 PM, Thursday at 8 PM, Friday at 8 PM, Saturday at 2 PM and 8 PM and Sunday at 3 PM and 7:30 PM.
