Broadway composer-lyricist Jerry Herman will perform and tell stories at the Paper Mill Playhouse for one night only, 7:30 PM Oct. 5, when a modified version of his Broadway reminiscence, An Evening With Jerry Herman, is presented.

Florence Lacey and Lee Roy Reams, who joined Herman on Broadway for a short run of the revue in 1998, will also appear at the free concert, along with Paper Mill artistic director Robert Johanson and Susan Speidel. The event is part of The Paper Mill Humanities Series, special evenings meant to "augment and illuminate" productions on the Paper Mill stage.

Herman's Mame is the non-profit theatre's current production. Herman is the show tune songwriter behind the musicals Milk and Honey, Hello, Dolly!, Dear World, Mack & Mabel, The Grand Tour and La Cage aux Folles. His current project is Miss Spectacular, a Las Vegas musical planned for a staging in Glitter Gulch.

Admission to An Evening With Jerry Herman is first come/first served.
