Coppola understudied and performed the role of Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys and will now headline the production of the Stephen Sondheim-George Furth musical Company – about New York City bachelor Bobby and his clutch of married friends – which will run through Feb. 16. Richard Kuranda will direct. The cast also features Matthias Austin (Peter), Sarah Breidenbach (Jenny), Chris Davis (David), Amy Ferraro (Sarah), Amanda Flahive (Amy), Frank Gaughan (Larry), Kate Hein (Marta), Mark R. Mahallak (Harry), Dana Parker (April), Teresa Arnold (Kathy), J. Matthew Madigan (Paul), Mary K. Nigohosian (Joanne) and Miriam Naponelli (Susan).
The creative team for Company includes T. Paul Lowry (scenic and projection design), John Dwyer (sound designer), Rebecca Lowry (costume design), Mike Potts (music director), Steven Spera (lighting designer) and Chesney Murphy (choreographer).
