John Lloyd Young, who earned a 2006 Tony Award for originating the role of Frankie Valli in the long-running Broadway hit Jersey Boys—a performance he re-created for director Clint Eastwood in the musical's 2014 film adaptation—is set to return to Feinstein’s/54 Below January 6 and 8, 2019, at 7 PM.

Young has conceived the act in two parts.

John Lloyd Young’s Broadway will feature songs from Jersey Boys, Dreamgirls and The Wiz, as well as American songbook standards written by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II, Moss Hart, and Frank Loesser.

The second part of the evening, titled Introducing: John Lloyd Young, will cover material heard on his debut album My Turn…, with selections of ’60s hits, as well as songs by Roy Orbison, Little Anthony, and Bobby Hatfield. The Tony winner will also perform original songs co-written with musical director Tommy Faragher.
