The evening, which is set to begin at 7 PM, will honor children's book author Todd Parr; Chad Griffin, co-founder and board president of the American Foundation for Equal Rights; and former congressman Patrick Murphy. Rob Reiner (The Roast) and Eric Stonestreet ("Modern Family") are among the awards presenters. The Awards Dinner, which marks the beginning of Family Equality Council’s 30th anniversary, will include a cocktail reception and dinner, as well as live performances and appearances by notables in the world of arts, entertainment, politics and the LGBT movement.
Ferguson was seen on Broadway in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and On the Town. He also appeared on stage in the Public Theater's The Merchant of Venice and is best known for his work on the ABC comedy series "Modern Family."
