News   Jessica Molaskey Begins Oak Room Engagement June 13 Singer-actress Jessica Molaskey — whose numerous theatrical credits include Parade and A Man of No Importance — returns to the Oak Room of the Algonquin Hotel June 13.

Molaskey has titled her new show After Midnight, and she will perform at the intimate nightclub through July 1. The singing actress will be backed by husband John Pizzarelli on guitar, Larry Fuller on piano and Martin Pizzarelli on bass. (On June 22 and 29, pianist Ray Kennedy and his ensemble will substitute for the Pizzarelli trio.) Cabaretgoers can expect to hear tunes by Richard Rodgers, Harold Arlen, Harry Warren, Michael John LaChiusa, Adam Guettel, Jason Robert Brown and Ricky Ian Gordon as well as songs from Molaskey's upcoming fourth solo CD; she is a signature artist on the PS Classics label. Titles will include "Glad To Be Unhappy," "Happy As the Day Is Long," "There Will Never Be Another You," "There Will Be a Miracle," "How Can I Lose You," "Stars and the Moon" and the Patsy Cline standard "Walkin' After Midnight."

Jessica Molaskey has performed on and Off-Broadway and in several national tours. Her theatrical credits include A Man of No Importance, Dream, Tommy, Falsettos, City of Angels, Crazy for You, Les Misérables, Cats, Chess, Dream True, Songs for a New World and Time & Again. Molaskey's critically acclaimed solo recordings on the PS Classics label include "Make Believe," "A Good Day" and "Pentimento."

Molaskey will perform Tuesday-Saturday evenings at 9 PM with late shows Fridays and Saturdays at 11:30 PM. There is a $50 cover charge and a $20 minimum during the week and for late shows and a $60 prix fixe dinner for early shows Fridays and Saturdays.
