News Jessica Molaskey Concludes Algonquin Gig Jan. 29 Jessica Molaskey, the Broadway veteran whose numerous theatrical credits include Parade and A Man of No Importance, will conclude her solo cabaret debut at the Algonquin's Oak Room on Jan. 29.

The two-week run, which began Jan. 18, garnered positive notice from critics and all but sold out.

Molaskey — who recently released her third solo recording, "Make Believe" on the PS Classics label — is backed by husband John Pizzarelli on guitar, Larry Goldings on piano and Martin Pizzarelli on bass. The set included numbers from her three albums "Pentimento," "A Good Day" and "Make Believe." Among the songs featured were "I Cain't Say No," "Make Believe," "A Good Day," "Cloudburst/Not Getting Married," "Red Red Robin" and "The Greedy Tadpole," a commission Molaskey and Pizzarelli wrote for Audra McDonald.

Jessica Molaskey has performed on and Off-Broadway and in several national tours. Her theatrical credits include A Man of No Importance, Dream, Tommy, Falsettos, City of Angels, Crazy for You, Les Misérables, Cats, Chess, Dream True, Songs for a New World and Time & Again. Molaskey's critically acclaimed solo recordings include "Make Believe," "A Good Day" and "Pentimento."
