Tifft Productions, in association with La Vie Productions, presents the show, written by Philip Capice, Anne Hitchner and Robert Keuch (book and lyrics) and Kenneth Hitchner Jr. (music).

Opening night is May 18 at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre at 410 W. 42nd Street in Manhattan. A 12-week run is scheduled.

Matthew Hamel directs. "With the kingdom of Egypt horribly in arrears to the Roman government due to Caesar's frivolous spending on lavish gifts for his Queen of the Nile, Marc Antony arrives to uncover the cause and mete out justice," according to the producers. "When the court's Soothsayer mistakenly forecasts that Antony will fall in love with Cleopatra, he unwittingly sets into motion a series of comic events the likes of which won't be found in any history books."

In addition to the Caesar of Walton (Merrily We Roll Along and the recent Guys and Dolls) and Marc Antony of Shuford (The Little Mermaid, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang), the cast of The Sphinx Winx includes Erika Amato, Rebecca Riker, Beth Cheryl Tarnow and Ryan Williams.

The production team includes choreographer Tara Jeanne Vallee, musical director and arranger Jeffrey Lodin and Robert Kovach (scenic design), Gail Baldoni (costume design), Annmarie Duggan (lighting design) and David Lawson (sound design) and Doug Katsaros (orchestrations). Performances are scheduled through July 24. The Sphinx Winx will play Tuesdays at 7 PM, Wednesdays-Fridays at 8 PM; Saturdays at 2 PM and 8 PM and Sundays at 3 PM.

Tickets are $56.25 (or $80 for premium seating) and can be purchased through Telecharge.com or at (212) 239-6200.

Additionally, there will be a limited number of $20 rush tickets available at the Theatre Row Box Office, cash only, one hour before each performance.
