Joanna Gleason, who won a Tony for her acting in the aforementioned Sondheim musical and also appeared in Nick & Nora, will direct Betty Comden, Adolph Green and Cy Coleman's On The 20th Century for the Pasadena, CA, Musical Theatre Guild, one night only, Apr. 6.

Starring are Lorna Patterson (TV's "Private Benjamin") and Edward Evanko, alongside Bob Amaral, who was the last Pseudolus in the recent Broadway revival of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Also in the cast are James Gleason, Gordon Goodman, Betty Vaughan, Tony Adelman, Doug Austin, Charles Bergman, Christopher Callen, Ira Denmark, Shelby Grimm, Erin McNally, Danny Michaels, Ali Olmo, Leanne Polk, Larry Raben, Justin Robertson, Laurrinda Robinson, Kathryn Skatula, Michele Spears and Connie Woodson.

Among many other acting credits, Gleason also appeared in Coleman's 1977 musical I Love My Wife.
