On Nov. 11, Fox announced the series' renewal for a record 23rd season next year.

Other stars who will be heard visiting the animated Springfield family this season include Halle Berry, Ricky Gervais, Jon Hamm, Kristen Wiig, Alyson Hannigan, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Martha Stewart and Katy Perry; the latter will appear in a live-action sequence in which The Simpsons will be seen as puppets.

"The Simpsons" airs Sundays at 8 PM ET on Fox.
