Award-winning stage veteran Joel Grey, who was Tony-nominated for his performance as George M. Cohan in the 1968 musical George M!, will take part in a May 28 talkback at The Paley Center in New York City. Admission is free.
Grey will be in attendance for the Paley Center’s screening of the musical that co-starred Bernadette Peters. This taped version of George M! is presented as a rehearsal of the show, with the actors appearing as themselves as well as their characters in the show.
Grey will sit down with Playbill Editor in Chief Mark Peikert for the Q&A that will take place before the 12:15 PM screening of George M!
The Paley Center and Playbill partnered on the screening series that invites fans to relive some of the most iconic musical theatre performances ever captured on screen. Screenings take place Sundays in both New York and Los Angeles throughout the month of May.
