Performances of the romantic comedy begin May 22 and run through June 15.

The cast will feature Joey Slotnick (The Big Knife, "Nip/Tuck"), Anastasia Griffith ("Damages," "Once Upon A Time"), Michael Nathanson ("Side Effects," "The Knick") and Nadia Bowers (The Farnsworth Invention, Metamorphoses).

Here's how the production is billed: "Chapter Two, a comedy about love the second time around is about George Schneider, a successful writer mourning the recent loss of his beloved wife. When George meets a vibrant, recently divorced actress, Jennie, they begin a whirlwind courtship that leads to marriage. But can George put his memories aside?"

"We are thrilled to welcome this stellar cast, each making their New Hope debut, to the first show under our banner at the Playhouse. They hit the ball out of the park at our first read-through, and we can't wait to see them deliver this gem of a play by the great Neil Simon," producing director Alexander Fraser said in a statement.

"Having given Marsha her first directing job in 1985 in New York, I am so proud to welcome her back to the Playhouse to direct a show she so knows well, especially since she received an Academy Award nomination for starring in the film," executive producer Robyn Goodman added.

Chapter Two will feature scenic design by Lauren Helpern, costume design by Bobby Frederick Tilley, lighting design by Zach Blane and sound design by David A. Thomas.

Bucks County Playhouse is located at 70 South Main Street, New Hope, PA. Visit bcptheater.org for more information.
