Jerome Alden's colorful, one-man portrait of Teddy Roosevelt will take over the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts for one night only, Mar. 11, at 8 PM. Starring in Bully: An Adventure With Teddy Roosevelt is John Davidson, who was directed by Joe Leonardo.

This is Davidson's second time portraying Teddy Roosevelt, having played the bombastic president in the musical Teddy and Alice. Davidson made his Broadway debut in 1964 in Foxy. He has appeared in many plays and musicals since as well as in TV and films.

Alden, who died in 1997, saw Bully produced on Broadway in 1977. He conceived and wrote A Program for Two Players: An Evening of Shakespeare in which Helen Hayes and Maurice Evans toured the country with great success.
