Kate Baldwin and Conor Ryan comprise the entire cast of this musical about a brother and sister who grow up close to one another in an abusive household. They grow apart, John goes away to war and doesn't come back, and Jen focuses all her protectiveness on her son, also named John.
The show has lyrics by Tom Greenwald, and a book by Lippa and Greenwald. Produced by Lippa and Michael Croiter, the new recording is scheduled to be released June 16 on Broadway records.
In the meantime, John & Jen continues performances through April 4 at The Clurman Theatre at Theatre Row in New York.
