The Observer reported that, "the book follows Mr. Leguizamo’s rough-and-tumble upbringing in Queens through his film and TV career almost to the present day—documenting, often in humiliating detail, the doubts and grotesque habits and anger issues that have plagued his personal and professional life."
Leguizamo's Ghetto Klown, which opened on Broadway in February 2011 and ran 95 performances, tells behind-the-scenes stories from his career—including several embarrassing stories other celebrities have been less than pleased to hear about themselves. Stephen Seagal reportedly said that if he ever ran into Leguizamo on a red carpet, he would punch him out.
Leguizamo will be discussing the novel at Kaufmann Concert Hall Nov. 13 at 8 PM. Click here for more information or to purchase tickets.
