This isn't even the first time this week Mulaney has theatre theatre fans to show tunes and Broadway references on the small screen. The comedian wrote IFC's recent Documentary Now! episode Original Cast Album: Co-op, a mockumentary sending up the film Original Cast Album: Company. He also starred as the Simon Sawyer, a (loving) parody of a '70s-era Stephen Sondheim.
