Broadway and cabaret artists John Pizzarelli and Jessica Molaskey will return to the Café Carlyle for five weeks, Oct. 5-Nov. 6, in a new program to be titled The Heart of a Saturday Night.

The show will perform Tuesdays through Thursdays at 8:45 PM, with additional performances Fridays and Saturdays at 10:45 PM.

The acclaimed jazz singers will be accompanied by a quartet led by Pizzarelli, who will play guitar and share vocals with his wife, Molaskey. Other members of the band will include Martin Pizzarelli (bass), Larry Fuller (piano) and Tony Tedesco (drums).

The Carlyle describes the evening as "a mix of familiar standards by Rodgers & Hart, Irving Berlin, George Gershwin and Duke Ellington, as well as more contemporary tunes by Joni Mitchell, Tom Waits and Jonathan Larson."
