It's nice to know both the "Dukes of Hazzard" are keeping busy theatrically.
While Tom Wopat prepares to star opposite Bernadette Peters in the upcoming Broadway revival of Annie Get Your Gun, his television brother John Schneider has also found work in the musical theatre.

Schneider stars as Curley McLain in a new mounting of Oklahoma! at the Ordway Theatre in St. Paul, MN. Greg Ganakas directs.

The production began rehearsals in November for previews beginning Dec. 19 and a Dec. 21 opening. The short run will close Jan. 3, 1999. An Ordway spokeperson said there were no plans for the show to move beyond this run.

Rodgers and Hammerstein's classic musical first opened at the St. James Theatre in 1943. The score includes such standards as "People Will Say We're in Love, "Kansas City," "I Cain't Say No," and the title tune.
