John Stamos, best known for playing Uncle Jesse on "Full House," will soon make his way back to the stage when he performs as Corny Collins in the Hollywood Bowl's production of Hairspray in Los Angeles.

Here, Stamos sits down on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and talks about gearing up for Hairspray, which includes multiple sessions with his vocal coach. Stamos admits to Kimmel that he is not much of a singer and has a lot of work to do when preparing for a musical or guest-starring on the Fox hit series "Glee."

In Hairspray, Stamos will join Tony Award winners Harvey Fierstein and Marissa Jaret Winokur, who created the roles of, respectively, mother Edna Turnblad and daughter Tracy Turnblad in the original Broadway company. The cast also includes Corbin Bleu (Seaweed), Drew Carey (Wilbur Turnblad), Diana DeGarmo (Penny Pingleton), Mo Gaffney (Prudy Pingleton, the Gym Teacher, the Matron), Nick Jonas (Link Larkin), Darlene Love (Motormouth Maybelle) and Tara Macri (Amber).
