PlayBlog John Tartaglia's ImaginOcean Will Donate Free Tickets to Impoverished Students John Tartaglia's ImaginOcean, an underwater-themed family musical created by the Avenue Q Tony nominee, is giving a free ticket to an impoverished student for every full price ticket sold between Aug. 13 and Sept. 4.

The show is partnering with Fresh Youth Initiatives (FYI) and Artists Striving to End Poverty (ASTEP) to make this effort possible. Tartaglia said in a statement, “It is deeply important to our entire team at ImaginOcean, that all children get the chance to see a live musical production. Attending live theatre is what inspired most of us here, and we want to try to make our show available to kids who may not be able to afford it. This program and partnership is our way of making theatre as available as possible to kids despite of their economic level.”

ImaginOcean is currently playing at New World Stages. For more information, visit imaginoceanthemusical.com.
