Directed by Dan Wackerman, the screwball comedy will officially open Sept. 8 and play through Oct 4. The cast features Margery Beddow, Dale Carman, Jerry Coyle, Laura Daniel, Michael E. Lopez, Marc Ginsburg, Wayne Henry, Kevin Kolack, Mark Manley, Bergin Michaels, Robert O'Gorman, Carter Roy, Christian Rummel, Raymond Thorne and Ellen Zolezzi.

Johnny on a Spot, according to press notes, "concerns the machinations of a particularly inventive campaign manager to elect Governor Johnny, a devout drunk and skirt-chaser, to the U.S. Senate. When he drops dead in a whorehouse, the manager conspires to keep him 'alive' long enough to win the election."

In a statement director Wackerman said, "With the elections coming up, MacArthur's play should really strike a nerve." Playwright MacArthur is also the author of The Front Page.

Show times are Thursdays-Saturdays at 8 PM and Sundays at 3 PM.

Tickets, priced $20, are available by calling (212) 352-3101 or by visiting www.thepeccadillo.com. Theatre at St. Clement's is located in Manhattan at 423 West 46th Street.
