The romantic comedy, written and directed by Amy Heckerling ("Clueless"), will focus on two young female vampires (Ritter and Silverstone) whose immortal existence is jeopardized when love comes along. Weaver will play a "stem" vampire who has created a dynasty, and Johnston will appear as a British woman suspicious of Ritter, her son's latest love interest.

Johnston, a 2010 Drama Desk nominee for her performance in So Help Me God!, is known for her work on the sitcom "3rd Rock from the Sun" and her stage appearances, including The Women and Aunt Dan and Lemon. Ritter has appeared in All This Intimacy at Second Stage Theatre and on screen in "Confessions of a Shopaholic," "Gossip Girl" and "Veronica Mars."

Silverstone, who previously starred for Heckerling in "Clueless," has performed on Broadway in Time Stands Still and The Graduate and on screen in "Batman and Robin" and the series "Miss Match." Weaver's stage appearances include Crazy Mary, Mrs. Farnsworth, Hurlyburly, The Mercy Seat and The Guys, in addition to her screen appearances in "Avatar," the "Alien" series, "Ghostbusters," "Working Girl" and "Gorillas in the Mist," among others.
