News Jonathan Ansell to Star in A Tale of Two Cities at London's Charing Cross Theatre Jonathan Ansell, best known for appearing with the pop opera group G4 on TV's "The X Factor," will play Charles Darnay in the previously announced new musical version of A Tale of Two Cities, beginning performances at London's Charing Cross Theatre April 5, prior to an official opening April 17, for a run through May 12.

Ansell has also established himself as a successful solo artist. Last year he performed with Marvin Hamlisch and Hamlisch's orchestra on a U.S. tour, and also appeared in his first nationwide solo tour in the U.K. He has also appeared in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Birthday Concert in Hyde Park and in Lyrics by Don Black at the Palladium. A Tale of Two Cities is directed by Paul Nicholas, with music by multi-platinum award winner David Pomeranz, book by Emmy winner Steven David Horwich and David Soames, lyrics by Steven David Horwich and musical arrangements by John Cameron.
