Flesh and Blood is based on the epic novel by Cunningham (Pulitzer Prize winning "The Hours") which spans over 100 years in the lives of three generations of an American family from their 1930 New York arrival.

Doug Hughes (Scattergood, Othello) directs the production. The design team includes Christine Jones (sets), Paul Tazewell (costumes), Scott Zielinski (lighting) and David Van Tieghem (sound) — who also provides original music.

The cast includes Jones, Plimpton, Patricia Buckley, Airrion Doss, Sean Dugan, Peter Frechette, Gaitens, Jessica Hecht, Chris McGarry, John Sierros and Jeff Weiss.

Actress Jones, who appeared in "Signs," recently played in the Broadway production of Imaginary Friends. Plimpton, known for roles in such films as "The Goonies," was last seen in David Mamet's Boston Marriage at the Public Theatre.
