Rent on Fox alum Jordan Fisher has been cast in the new dance film from Netflix, Work It, produced by Alicia Keys. The film follows a high school senior (played by Sabrina Carpenter) whose admission to the college of her dreams depends on a dance competition.

Also tapped for the film, directed by Laura Terruso, are Liza Koshy (Liza on Demand), Keiynan Lonsdale (The Flash, Love, Simon), Drew Ray Tanner (Riverdale), and Michelle Buteau (Always Be My Maybe).

The casting news follows the recent announcement that Fisher is also set to star in Netflix's upcoming To All the Boys I've Loved Before sequel.

The actor has been seen on Broadway in Hamilton, in which he played Philip and John Laurens. On screen, he has appeared in She-Ra and the Princess of Power, Liv and Maddie, Grease Live!, Teen Wolf, and The Secret Life of the American Teenager.
