News Joseph Tour, Starring Married Couple Ace Young and Diana DeGarmo, Launches March 4 The Independent Presenters Network's 2014 national tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat launches March 4 at Playhouse Square in Cleveland, OH, with an official opening the following day.

Directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Andy Blankenbuehler, the cast is headed by Broadway actors and "American Idol" finalists Diana DeGarmo (Narrator) and Ace Young (Joseph), who are also married. They are joined by Paul Castree as Simeon, William Thomas Evans as Jacob/Potiphar, Brian Golub as Reuben, Will Mann as Judah and Ryan Williams as Pharaoh.

The ensemble includes Chip Abbott, Amanda Braun, Jonathan Burke, Claire Camp, Richard Cerato, Vincent D’Elia, Lisa Finegold, Lili Froehlich, Sasha Hollinger, Brandon Hudson, Patrick John Moran, Mark Roland, David Rossetti, Leigh Scheffler, Christine Cornish Smith, Brett Stoelker, Tricia Tanguy, Matthew Tiberi and Katie Whetsell.

Young and DeGarmo met when they shared the Broadway stage in the 2009 revival of Hair. “I am so excited to star as ‘Joseph’ alongside Diana,” said Young in a previous statement. “It’s great to be back! I too am so excited to star alongside Ace in the very role I once looked up to years ago as a child in the choir,” added DeGarmo.

"Retelling the Biblical story of Joseph, his eleven brothers and the coat of many colors," press notes state, "this magical musical is full of unforgettable songs including 'Those Canaan Days,' 'Any Dream Will Do' and 'Close Every Door.'"

The tour has scenic design by Beowulf Boritt, costume design by Jennifer Caprio, lighting design by Howell Binkley, sound design by John Shivers and David Patridge, projection and video design by Daniel Brodie, music supervision by David Kreppel and music direction by Wayne Green.
