News Josh Gad, Jason Sudekis, Maya Rudolph, Danny McBride, Peter Dinklage Will Voice "Angry Birds" Film Tony Award nominee Josh Gad, who voiced the character of Olaf in the Oscar-winning film "Frozen," will provide his voice to the film adaptation of "Angry Birds," according to Deadline.com.

The animated film, based on the popular Rovio game of the same name, will also feature the voices of Jason Sudekis, Bill Hader, Maya Rudolph, Danny McBride, Peter Dinklage, Keegan-Michael Key, Kate McKinnon, Tony Hale, Ike Barinholtz, Hannibal Buress, Cristela Alonzo, Jillian Bell, Danielle Brooks, Grammy nominee Romeo Santos and YouTube stars Smosh (Ian Andrew Hecox and Anthony Padilla).

Written by Jon Vitti, "Angry Birds" will feature Sudeikis as Red, a bird with a bad temper; Gad as Chuck, a speedy bird; McBride as Bomb; Dinklage as the Mighty Eagle; Hader as a character on the pig nemesis side; and Rudolph as Matilda.

Fergal Reilly and Clay Kaytis will direct the Sony-Rovio film, produced by John Cohen and Catherine Winder and executive-produced by Mikael Hed and David Maisel.

The film is set for a July 1, 2016, release.
