The annual benefit brings together Broadway stars to perform songs from shows and roles in which they'd never be cast.
The 6:30 PM evening, hosted by Lewis Black, will also honor the authors of the musical Carrie – Academy Award-winning composer Michael Gore, Academy Award-winning lyricist Dean Pitchford and screenwriter Lawrence D. Cohen – for their "bold, daring, risk-taking spirit."
Book of Mormon stars Gad and O'Malley, as well as Maxwell (Follies, The Royal Family), Lewis (Porgy and Bess, Side Show) and Parker ("Mad TV"), join a lineup that includes the previously announced Jonathan Groff (Spring Awakening, The Submission), Laura Benanti (Gypsy, Women On The Verge…), Norbert Leo Butz (Catch Me If You Can, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), Nikki M. James (The Book of Mormon), Steven Pasquale (Reasons to Be Pretty, "Rescue Me") and NBC "Smash" stars Tony nominee Christian Borle (Peter and the Starcatcher, Legally Blonde) and Megan Hilty (9 to 5, Wicked). Phil Reno will musical direct.
