Broadway News Josh Groban, Cynthia Erivo, and More Take the Stage March 13 for Broadway Backwards Julie White hosts the 12th annual gender-reversing event.

The Great Comet headliner Josh Groban, The Color Purple Tony winner Cynthia Erivo, Santino Fontana, and among the stars who will take center stage on March 13 at Broadway Backwards 2017. The 12th annual event will take place at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre.

Also taking part in the Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS benefit are Carolee Carmello (soon to star Off-Broadway in Sweeney Todd), Elizabeth Stanley (On the Town), Eric Petersen (School of Rock), Robert Creighton (Cagney), Megan Sikora (Holiday Inn), Jersey Boys alums Dominic Nolfi, Michael Longoria, and Daniel Reichard, and Emmy winner Bruce Vilanch.

Rounding out the roster are Sierra Boggess, Len Cariou, Ariana DeBose, Lora Lee Gayer, John Glover, Jay Armstrong Johnson, Rachel Bay Jones, Levi Kreis, Andrew Keenan-Bolger, Bobby Steggert, Andrew Rannells, Bobby Conte Thornton, Kathleen Turner, and Rachel York. Performers are subject to change.

The event, hosted by Julie White, will showcase the above stage and screen favorites as they offer their gender-reversed takes on some of their favorite musical theatre songs. Proceeds will go to Broadway Cares and the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center in New York.
