Josh Radnor will assume the role of Benjamin Braddock in the Broadway production of The Graduate June 11. Radnor steps in for Jason ("American Pie") Biggs — who is on leave from the show to film a leading role in Woody Allen's new film — from June 11 through Aug. 18. Biggs will return to the production Aug. 20 and stay with the show through Nov. 17.
Radnor is making his Broadway debut in The Graduate, which co-stars Kathleen Turner as the infamous Mrs. Robinson and Alicia Silverstone as her daughter Elaine. A graduate of NYU's Graduate Acting Program, Radnor has appeared on the New York stage in productions for the Blue Light Theatre Company and Manhattan Theatre Club. His television credits include roles in "The Court," "Off Centre," "Law & Order" and "Welcome to NY," and he was recently seen in the film "Not Another Teen Movie."
