The Broadway premiere of Anastasia, the new stage musical based on the 1997 animated film, began previews March 23 with an official opening April 24 at the Broadhurst Theatre.

The expanded stage production features a score by Tony Award winners Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty and an all-new book by Tony winner Terrence McNally.

The Broadway production features Christy Altomare as Anya, Derek Klena as Dmitry, John Bolton as Vlad, Caroline O’Connor as Lily, Ramin Karimloo as Gleb, and Mary Beth Peil as Dowager Empress Maria Feodorovna.
