Classic Arts News Judge Orders Teatro Col‹n to Reopen A Buenos Aires judge has ordered the Teatro Col‹n to reopen, weeks after city officials suspended performances, the Associated Press reports.
The city's culture secretary shut the opera house down after workers staged a series of strikes in an effort to secure wage increases and better working conductions. One of the strikes disrupted a festival organized by pianist Martha Argerich in September.

On November 11, the judge ordered the opera house to reopen this week. But a spokesperson told the AP that it was unclear whether performances would resume.
