Judith Blazer will star in Hurrah at Last, a new play by Richard Greenberg that will have its world premiere May 29 at South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa, CA.

Hurrah at Last is set on Christmas Eve in a posh Manhattan loft and has been described as a play that "demonstrates how we manage to avoid homicides with our families over a holiday period."

Blazer was recently featured as Caroline Neville in Broadway's Titanic; her final performance with that show was April 12. Previously announced Hurrah at Last cast members include Peter Frechette and Ileen Getz.

Greenberg, who resides in NY, is the author of numerous plays including Eastern Standard, Night and Her Stars, and Three Days of Rain -- which had its world premiere in 1997 at South Coast Rep and which recently completed an acclaimed run at the Manhattan Theatre Club.

The director of Hurrah at Last is David Warren, who staged Night and Her Stars and more recently directed Misalliance at NY's Roundabout Theatre and the world premiere of Barry Manilow's Harmony at the La Jolla Playhouse in CA. For information, call South Coast Rep at (714) 957-2602.
