Judy Kaye (Ragtime) and Lee Roy Reams (An Evening With Jerry Herman) will headline New York City's "Holiday Cabaret" Dec. 4 at Don't Tell Mama's.
A part of the nation-wide series of "Holiday Cabarets", this event will benefit the Hale House for Children, founded by Clara Hale to aid the children of drug addicts and AIDS victims. Other cities participating in "A Holiday Cabaret" are Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington DC and, on Dec. 20, London. All cabarets will donate proceeds to a local children's charity.
Kaye and Reams will perform among cabaret singers, including Barbara Brussell, Jamie deRoy, David Green, Gerta Grunen, Peter Howard, Jeanne MacDonald and Sidney Myer, plus the promise of "a couple of surprises."
