Judy Kuhn, who received her fourth Tony nomination for her current role as Helen in the Tony-winning musical Fun Home, performs a concert February 28 to benefit The 52nd Street Project.
Entitled Finding Home, the evening takes place at 7:30 PM at the Project’s Five Angels Theater (789 Tenth Avenue, 2nd floor, in Manhattan).
Kuhn will sing a selection of songs about home, joined by Joel Perez, John Ellison Conlee, Lauren Patten, Kally Duling, Perry Sherman, Jim Stanek, music director Chris Fenwick, drummer Damien Bassman and several kids from the Project.
The 52nd Street Project makes a difference in the lives of Hell’s Kitchen kids by "pairing them with theater professionals who mentor them through the creation of original theater."
Tickets are $150 (tax-deductible except for $30 per ticket) for the performance only or $400 for the performance and a post-performance reception with the artists (tax-deductible except for $75 per ticket). Click here for tickets.
