Expect songs by Frank Loesser & Jule Styne, Stephen Foster, Henry Bishop & John Howard Payne and more in a concert that recognizes the famous 1850 Castle Clinton concert by "Swedish Nightingale" Jenny Lind; at the time, Castle Clinton was an opera venue. The free 2012 concert is being performed in the warmth of the World Financial Center Winter Garden.

Kuhn was nominated for Tony Awards for her work in the musicals Chess, Les Miserables and She Love Me.

The concert is titled Life, Liberty, and The Pursuit of Music!, presented by Arts Brookfield at 7 PM at the World Financial Center at 220 Vesey Street. For more information, visit http://www.worldfinancialcenter.com/arts-events.

According to Arts Brookfield notes, "The concert will bring to life songs that endeared Lind — known as The Swedish Nightingale — to adoring American audiences. The show honors her historic 1850 Castle Clinton performance that was a highlight of the structure's 30-year tenure as an opera house, part of two centuries of service to downtown New York that also included stints as a military fortification, entertainment palace, immigration center, and concert venue, among others."

The Knickerbocker Chamber Orchestra (KCO) is a professional chamber orchestra based in Lower Manhattan under the direction of Gary S. Fagin. KCO programs are inspired by Lower Manhattan, performed in the extraordinary spaces of Lower Manhattan, and created for the people of Lower Manhattan.

The concert will also feature John Williams' Statue of Liberty tribute "Liberty Fanfare," plus the work of Charles Ives, Aaron Copland, John Philip Sousa and Leonard Bernstein.
