McLane is joined on stage in the limited engagement by Ephie Aardema as Natalie, Alex Brightman as Henry, Ben Crawford as the Doctor, Matt Dengler as Gabe and Jonathan Rayson as Dan. (McLane, according to her official website, will return to Broadway's Mamma Mia! Oct. 3.)
The production features direction and choreography by Karen Azenberg (whose Rent for PTC was critically acclaimed earlier this year), musical direction by Larry Goldberg, set design by George Maxwell, costume design by Carol Wells-Day, lighting design by Michael Gilliam, sound design by Matthew Tibbs and hair and makeup design by Amanda French.
Judy McLane, who received a Drama Desk Award nomination for her performance as Vienna in Off-Broadway's Johnny Guitar, has appeared on Broadway in Kiss of the Spider Woman, Aspects of Love and Chess. She starred in the tours of Into the Woods, Big, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Side By Side By Sondheim. Her many other theatrical credits include Follies, Victor/Victoria, Evita, Man of La Mancha, Oliver!, Nine and Kiss Me, Kate.
