Classic Arts News Juilliard Bookstore Holds Major Relocation Sale This Week Only The Juilliard bookstore is cutting prices on all its merchandise before it closes next week to accommodate the major construction to renovate Alice Tully Hall, which is located one floor below.
The store's longtime location, one level above the corner of Broadway and West 65th Street, will close on March 24; the bookstore will re-open April 2 in a temporary location on 66th Street, midway between Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue, just west of the Alice Tully Hall stage entrance and Juilliard's loading dock.

Prior to the relocation, the store is offering steep discounts on its stock: books, scores, sheet music and DVDs are marked down 30% from list price; CDs are 50% off; previously marked down titles in all categories are now 60% off. Rare books, hard-to-find scores and sheet music and many out of print CDs and DVDs are included in the sale.

To get to the Juilliard Bookstore use the escalator/elevator/staircase on West 65th Street near Amsterdam Ave. After reaching plaza level, walk east toward the Juilliard building main entrance and find the bookstore entrance immediately after.

The entrance to The Juilliard School is being remodeled as part of the work on the neighboring Alice Tully Hall; an architect's rendering of the new entrance is shown below.
