News Julie Andrews Plans Follow-Up Memoir Promising Untold Stories from "Sound of Music" and "Mary Poppins" Stage and screen star Julie Andrews announced plans to publish a follow-up to her 2008 memoir "Home," which will include behind-the-scenes stories from such iconic films as "The Sound of Music," "Mary Poppins," "Thoroughly Modern Millie," "Victor/Victoria" and more, according to the Associated Press.

Hachette Book Group, which published "Home: A Memoir of My Early Years," will also release the second book that is slated for a September 2017 publication. Andrews will reflect on her life from the 1960s to the present. "My first memoir, 'Home,' was about my childhood, early training and formative years in the Theater. I am so pleased that my good friends at the Hachette Book Group have encouraged me to share the next phase of my life, beginning with my arrival in Hollywood and the wonderful movies and television programs I was asked to be a part of," Andrews said in a statement.

In addition to untold stories from her career, the latest book will also explore Andrew's marriage to her second husband and collaborator, late director Blake Edwards.
