News   Julie White, Christopher Abbott, Cady Huffman and Rebecca Naomi Jones Set for Page 73's Spring Benefit

Tony Award winner Julie White (The Little Dog Laughed) will host Page 73 Productions' spring benefit, an evening of "up-close encounters with your favorite Page 73 playwrights," May 11 at the City Winery.

The evening, scheduled to begin at 7 PM, will feature a theatrical "bake off" with playwrights Robert Askins, Max Posner and Heidi Schreck, who will be given suggestions from the audience to create a new play. Christopher Abbott, who was seen in the 2011 revival of The House of Blue Leaves, will be among the actors who will present the new work.

Composer-lyricist Matt Schatz will also premiere three commissioned new songs at the benefit, which will be performed by Tony Award winner Cady Huffman (The Producers) and Rebecca Naomi Jones (Passing Strange, American Idiot).

Proceeds from the spring benefit support Page 73's development programs.

The City Winery is located at 155 Varick Street. For more information and tickets, visit Page73.org.
