The play will begin previews Sept. 5, prior to an official opening Sept. 7. Performances will continue through Oct. 13.

Directed by Richard Pierce, the cast also includes Dagney Kerr ("Park"), Carol Locatell (Broadway Bound) and Robert Towers (You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown).

"The Bells of West 87th tells the story of soon-to-turn 40 Molly Fein (Landau) who believes her new poetry-class boyfriend (Marsters) may provide the means of escaping her crazy, dysfunctional, co-dependent parents Eli (Towers) and Ida (Locatell), as well as her (seemingly) has-it-all younger sister Maxine (Kerr)," press notes state.

Marsters has worked with the Goodman Theatre, the Northlight and Bailiwick theatre companies and Genesis Theatre Company. He formed the New Mercury Theatre with Liane Davidson and Greg Musick. Marsters' TV credits include "Angel," "Smallville," "Torchwood," "Caprica" and "Hawaii Five-O." He is a member of the band Ghost of the Robot.

Landau's theatre credits include Awake and Sing, Failure of Nerve, Uncommon Women and Others, The Pushcart Peddlers, Billy Irish, We're Talking Today Here, How To Steal An Election, Irish Coffee, The Songs Of War and The Three Sisters. Her film credits include "Ed Wood," "The Yellow Wallpaper," "Darkness Visible," "Direct Hit," "Citizens" and "Going Shopping." Her TV work includes "Angel," "Millennium," "La Femme Nikita" and "Strong Medicine." Hampton’s writing credits include the musical Who’s Your Mommy?! (aka Amother Musical), as well as writing and producing credits on television shows "Mad About You," "Dream On," "Pinky and the Brain," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "The Jackie Thomas Show," "Rugrats," "House of Buggin," "Life's Work" and "Baby Bob."
