Directed by Jessica Stone, the production will continue through July 13 on the Main Stage.
The company includes Jason Bowen, Nate Corddry, Diana DiMarzio as Goldie, Holley Fain, Melanie Field, Christopher Fitzgerald, Rick Holmes, Kate MacCluggage, Rachel Napoleon, David Turner, Timothy Shew, John Bambery, Whitney Brown, Tesiana Elie, Dennis Kozee and Amanda Schechtman.
"Earnest and gullible young lyricist Fred Stevens boards a train in Schenectady bound for the Big Apple, determined to make a name for himself in the thriving Tin Pan Alley scene," according to Williamstown. "However, the life he’s imagined is rife with seductive distractions—namely dames—that threaten to derail his dream of penning the next big ditty."
The creative team includes Tobin Ost (scenic design), Jeff Croiter (lighting design), Gregg Barnes (costume design), Drew Levy (sound design) and Kris Kukul (music consultant). The production stage manager is Libby Unsworth.
