After an acclaimed premiere in 2008 with the Boston Pops, Running Subway Productions has announced that the concert event will make stops at the Louisville Palace, Louisville, KY (Nov. 14); Orchestra Hall, Minneapolis, MN (Jan. 30-31, 2010); and the Civic Center, Des Moines, IA (March 6, 2010). More dates will be announced shortly. Judy Garland in Concert incorporates film footage of some of Garland's greatest moments, as well as patter and numbers from her 1963 variety show, sprinkled with personal photos and home movies of the star. Local symphony orchestras accompany musical footage of the entertainer in an evening that highlights her career from Vaudeville to film and her concert stage triumphs. June 22 marked the 40th anniversary of Garland's death, hailed by many as the greatest entertainer of her time.

The set list includes original Garland charts to such hits as "After You've Gone," "By Myself," "Chicago," "Come Rain or Come Shine," "A Cottage for Sale," "Just in Time," "If Love Were All," "The Trolley Song," "Zing! Went the Strings of My Heart," "Ol' Man River," "Rockabye Your Baby With a Dixie Melody," "Judy at the Palace Medley," "Swanee" and her signature song, "Over the Rainbow."

Christine Pedi (Forbidden Broadway, Talk Radio), known for her uncanny impressions of the great leading ladies, serves as the voice-over specialist for the production.

Running Subway has also delivered another multimedia concert – Sinatra – to London audiences.
