News Just Me . . . and Them: The Music of Scott Alan to Feature Dandridge, Green, Henderson, Noon and Rioseco Actors from the San Francisco casts of Wicked and Spamalot will join composer and lyricist Scott Alan for an evening of his songs July 3 at the Rrazz Room at Hotel Nikko in California.

The 11 PM concert will feature the talents of Spamalot's Merle Dandridge and Wicked's Alexa Green, Celisse Henderson, Vicki Noon and Eddy Rioseco. Expect songs from Alan's recordings "Dreaming Wide Awake" and "Keys" as well as tunes from his musical Piece.

Scott Alan wrote the book, music and lyrics for the musical Detour, which was seen in Los Angeles. His current theatre projects include Piece, which was featured at the 2003 Palo Alto TheatreWorks festival, the 2005 NAMT festival and the 2007 Festival of New Musicals at Village Theatre; and the song cycle The Warmth of the Womb. He also produces the monthly Monday Nights, New Voices concert at the Duplex. Alan's music is available on his website, scottalan.net, and at iTunes.
