According to MT, "It's the Jubilee year in a country that is suspiciously like England. The Royal Family is fed up with being 'royal' and want to do 'what simple folks do.' The King (Ed Schiff) — rope tricks a la Will Rogers; The Queen (Patti Perkins) — swimming with Johnny Weismuller (Sebastian La Cause); The Princess (Melissa Lone) — romantic conversations with Noel Coward (Justin Sayre); The Prince (Keith Gerchak) — a romantic liason with the most popular American singer in London (Leslie Ann Hendricks). A society gossip columnist (Cynthia Collins) stirs this pot and then reports on it. Joining in the fun are Julia Tilley, Kyrst Hogan, Alison Mahoney, Jamie Buxton, Chris Murrah, Michael Shane Ellis, Chris VanHoy, Michael Walker, and Raymond Edward Baynard." Songs from the 1939 show include "Begin the Beguine", "Just One of Those Things", "Why Shouldn't I!" and the obscure "When Me, Mowgli, Love."
