Guarini's new show, which is entitled From Idol to Broadway, "captures the world-class entertainer's journey from the days of paying his dues, to skyrocketing to fame on the inaugural season of 'American Idol,' and right through to his first of many bows on Broadway," according to press notes. Guarini, a contestant on the first season of the reality show “American Idol,” has been seen on Broadway in American Idiot and Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown. Last year, he starred as Roger in Surflight’s production of Rent.
